TabTrade Review - The Good and the Catch

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail matters. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.

The Software

Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That would round things out when it lands.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals something about priorities.

Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering is strong. Hardly anyone at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

This is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
