Tab Trade — What It Is
Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something this new, that range is broad.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people like it better than MT5 after comparing.
FIX API is available for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly coming. That should make the platform set when it arrives.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
This is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the thing that matters. TabTrade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Dodgy operations do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
